Growing up surrounded by financial expertise, I learned early on that numbers tell powerful stories — and that thoughtful, transparent accounting has the power to change lives.
I also saw something else: many people feel overwhelmed by their finances, and too often, traditional accountants unintentionally heighten that stress with technical jargon and rigid processes.
In 2009, I founded Acumen Accounting & Tax Services with a simple mission: to redefine the client experience. Our work is grounded in four core values: client-centric processes, clear communication, consistent follow-through, and delivering meaningful value every day.

When I’m not working, you’ll likely find me spending quality time with my husband and our two daughters — the heart and motivation behind everything I do.
